Do you think this is what forgiveness feels like? Does it feel like burning?
In this radical improvised ensemble movement piece, Wasn’t There a Man invites you to explore and question themes of religion, free will, and cycles of power throughout human history.
Wasn’t There a Man uses an experimental form of physical theatre inspired by Rachel Rosenthal’s practises of total free improvisation. Each performance is entirely unique, as movement, form, rhythm, sound and dialogue are found and created collaboratively, live in the space, from the performers’ moment-to-moment instincts and connections with one another.
Trigger warnings apply for themes of religious trauma.
