“Another world-class voice is heard from Louisiana, another soulful, mesmerising singer who writes emotional songs with impact and heart..” (Artist House Music)
“This record is genius. Not kidding, It is unbelievably great…the world needs to hear this record!” (George Howard, former president of Rykodisc)
Hailed by many critics as “world class”, Grammy-nominated, New Orleans singer-songwriter Andrew Duhon returns to the UK for the first time in 10 years!
A pure songwriter with a weighted, soulful voice and stories that rhyme with the traditions of heroes like Jim Croce and John Prine as well as Louisiana natives Bobby Charles and Jesse Winchester.
“He brings to mind a young Dylan with both his melancholy and sincerity..” Eric Orlando, Carrollton Station)
He has released 4 albums, including “The Moorings”, which was nominated for a Grammy Award. His newest, “The Parish Record”, touches on themes and memories from his native Louisiana, the only state in the US with parishes instead of counties.
Andrew has played across the country and Europe, and at festivals including Bonnarroo, New Orleans Jazz Fest, Austin City Limits, and Red River to name a few.
“Duhon’s music is deeply attached to the folk tradition, brining Americana-injected melodies, sung with a twang in the voice and resonating like heartfelt stories….totally connecting with the public and giving us the complete and unique live performance!” (Alyson Camus, Rock NYC)
