Bemis are a multi-award winning acoustic rock band (including Guide Awards Best Band in 2018) who have played countless festivals, clubs, pubs, community events and venues in their 19 years together. They began as an acoustic duo and built up the band and the band's sound through the development of their 9 album releases.

They have played to great acclaim headlining on stages at Victorious Festival and Guilfest, and played multiple times at Bearded Theory Festival, Wickham Festival, Beautiful Days Festival, New Day Festival, Endorse it in Dorset, and many other.

They have gained a great reputation as a headline band at their own venue gigs and supported artists such as Midge Ure, Ian McNabb, The Men They Couldn't Hang, Phil Beer, Ian Prowse, Bob Dylan Project, Lucy Wainwright Roche and many others.

Their sound has a strong focus on vocal harmonies with the 4 main singers taking lead roles in different songs, with the powerful instrumental section weaving a dynamic emotional edge to the vocals. They're currently working on their tenth release for 2025 and will be showcasing some of these songs in this special Edge of the Wedge performance. They'll also be performing the popular Bemis songs from the previous albums through the set.
