INDIE 80’s Is a collective of musicians who formed a band with a common goal in mind – to play a set of songs by artists from the 1980’s New Wave/Indie/ Alternative scene.

“We want to give our audiences something different to listen to by playing well-known songs that you rarely hear played on radio or in a live situation anymore” Gary Smith – lead vocals.

The band like to play an honest version of each song they play, without backing tracks or the heavy production that was so prominent on a lot of 80’s recordings.

You can expect to hear songs by artists such as Elvis Costello, Japan, Echo and the Bunnymen, The The, The Mighty Wah! and many more.
