THUNDERDOME is a free monthly rock night hosted by the iconic Pete Scathe (subversion / possession) usually on the first Friday of the month in the Edge of the Wedge. Entry is via IT'S A SIN in the main venue and open from 10pm til 2.30am.

Music ranges from classic rock through to heavy metal, punk, and alternative anthems and the night attracts a hardcore following of dedicated music lovers.

Transmission

On Friday 17 February Pete Scathe [Thunderdome/Connection/Pandemonia/Scandals] is doing a new night in the Edge of the Wedge, playing music from the late 70s and early-to-mid 80s that wasn't cheesy pop.

We're thinking of bands like Joy Division, Echo and the Bunnymen, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Gary Numan, Chameleons, Smiths,... Bauhaus, Japan, Jesus And Mary Chain, Pixies, Cure, Ultravox, John Foxx, Public Image Limited, The Sound, Cramps etc

Should anyone feel the need of a dose of cheesy pop, this will be easily available by running next door, as Transmission will be running in conjunction with the popular retro-pop night It's A Sin in the main Wedgewood Rooms. Entry to Transmission will be via the Edge door until It's A Sin starts (which is usually about 11.30ish), after which entry will be via the Wedgewood Rooms.

The good news is it will be free entry all night!
