Within a year of their first gig, The Rock Of Travolta had played in front of 45,000 people whilst supporting Radiohead at their immense South Park gig, having been invited personally by Yorke and Co. TROT have played four UK headline tours, recorded a John Peel session and released two EPs plus an album – all of which were met with critical acclaim. Following all this and a significant line up change, the band took on a new approach to writing and entered a self-imposed exile, taking time to ensure that the new record did justice to their vision. Often hailed as one of the originators of Post Rock, TROT are one of the UK's driving forces of Instrumental Rock.
