BOX OFFICE & TICKETING:

How can I book tickets for a show?

You can book tickets for our show over the phone, from our box office or from our website. For touring shows, tickets will also be available on ticketing sites such as TicketMaster, Gigantic and See Tickets.

 

What are your box office  opening times?

Our phone lines are open everyday from 10am - 4pm.

Our Box Office is open Thursday and Friday 3.30 -7pm, and Saturday's 12-7pm.

Our box office is also open in the evening when there is a show in The Wedge.

Please do not call us if you have ventured down at 8am on a Monday morning looking to book tickets. Our Box Office will not be open, and we will be in bed.

 

Can I buy physical tickets?

Yes. For every show we print a limited number of physical tickets. You can get your physical tickets from our box office and pay cash for them, or order over the phone and we will send them out to you.

 

I bought tickets online, can I pick them up from the Box Office before the show?

If you have ordered a ticket online from our website you will be sent an e-ticket which you can bring to the show.

If you bought from  any other major ticket retailer (Ticketmaster, SeeTickets, Gigantic etc), you cannot pick up your ticket before the doors open for the show.

 

Do I have to print out my e-ticket?

No - you can bring your e-ticket on your smart phone and we will be able to scan you in from that. We like trees, so this is our prefered option.

 

I ordered a ticket from you online, and haven't recieved an E-ticket. What do I do?

Call the Box Office on 02392863911 and we will cancel your tickets and issue you with new ones.

 

The show I bought tickets to has moved date. What if I cannot go? & 

What happens if the show I bought tickets to is cancelled? / What is your refund policy?​

Contact the people who sold you your ticket and they will issue you with a refund

 

I bought tickets for a show, but now I can't go. Can I give them to a friend?

The Wedgewood Rooms tickets are non transferable and non refundable. However in the case of sold out shows, we may be able to help you resell your tickets, providing

you purchased them from our Music Glue site and give us 1 week notice prior to the date of the show. Re-selling tickets online at above cost price is ticket touting, which

harms both artists and venues. Anyone we find selling their tickets at above cost price will have their tickets cancelled and may be barred in future from booking tickets for

our shows. Purchasers please be aware that if you are buying secondary tickets, that they are not above the initial cost price. Original prices can be checked by contacting

the venue. 

 

GENERAL QUESTIONS

Do you have a cloakroom?

Yes. We charge £1 per item, and will have a cloakroom available at most of our shows.

 

What are the age restrictions?

The Wedge is an all ages venue.

At  all our  shows, unless stated, under 14s must be accompanied by adults.

Our comedy nights are 16 + and all club nights are 18+.

Please check each event before purchasing your tickets.

 

Do you have any seats at the venue?

Whilst most of our shows are standing, we do have shows that are seated, these are mainly our comedy and theatre events.

However, if you struggle standing for long periods of time, you can contact a member of security after entering the venue, and they will arrange a seat for you at the back.

Unfortunately due to the size of the room is not possible to have chairs seated anywhere else in the venue on standing shows.

 

Where can I park nearby?

All the roads on the same side of the venue are free parking.

Good roads to park down would be Fawcett Road, Lawrence Road, Harold Road, Graham Road. Albert Road also has free parking after 6pm, but please respect our neighbours.

The Nearest free car park is at Waitrose in Southsea.

 

 

What do I do if I lost something at the venue?

If you think you have left anything at the venue please contact a member of security on the night of the show as all lost property is passed to them.

If it is not found on the night, please call back the next day from 11am and a member of staff will see if anything has been handed in.

If it is not collected, lost property will be held at the venue for 6 months before we give it to charity..

 

Can I use my card to pay for drinks when I am in the venue?

Unfortunately we do not accept cards behind the bar.

 Please visit a cash point before entering the venue, the nearest one is a 2 minute walk away from the venue at Tesco.

If you need to leave the venue to get cash out, contact a member of security before doing so.
